Soaping, Shampooing, & conditioning to a healthier and sustainable lifestyle.
Most of the soaps, including shampoos and conditioners that you’ll find out there today, contain synthetic chemicals. These are dangerous and have adverse effects on the environment, your body, and your hair. For example, many soaps contain Triclosan. It is an anti-bacterial chemical that causes skin irritation. Your soap can also contain trace amounts of formaldehyde. This chemical can cause allergic reactions and even skin rashes!
Sustainable soap companies will contain none of these toxic chemicals. Instead, they use all-natural ingredients that will replenish and hydrate your skin. Besides creating great and safe products, they follow the three pillars of sustainability: Social Equity, Environmental Preservation, and Economic Profitability. -Affordable. Your average sustainable soap will cost between $10 to $15. Some higher-end chemical soaps can range up to $100! Go sustainable to protect the environment and your wallet!
-No Palm Oil. Lots of traditional soaps contain palm oil, which is responsible for deforestation. Sustainable soaps are palm-oil-free and will keep the forests safe!
-Smoother, healthier skin and hair. Conventional soaps will dry out your skin. Natural soaps use organic ingredients that will hydrate, replenish, and rejuvenate your skin and hair!
-No parabens or sulfates. Parabens are in most traditional soaps. There is evidence that these can be dangerous and can even lead to disease. Sulfates are also in many soaps and will strip your skin of its natural oils. You’ll never have to worry about these issues with sustainable soaps!
-Lots of different fragrances. Believe it or not, but chemical detergents are pretty limited in their scents. Many chemical soaps end up smelling very similar. This isn’t true with natural soaps! Since they derive their scents from flowers and other plants, they have lots of variety. There’s nothing better than enjoying a shower with heavenly scents from real flowers!
